Live or Online yoga programme

General instructions before you join in

  • The July schedule is subject to changes, so please contact the studio prior to your first visit!
  • 3hrs gap from your last normal meal are advisable before your yoga lesson, so that digestion process has been completed. Yoga is traditionally practiced with an empty stomach and intestines, which is not very difficult to accomplish once we take care of what, when and how we eat.
  • At least prior to the lesson, if not always, abstain from alcohol or caffeine consumption, as the organism will be “intoxicated” which will sabotage the yoga practice. It is high time you observed yourself and your default programming, as a parallel aim of yoga is to acknowledge and gradually get rid of your daily crutches, e.g. all those substances, (other than the naturally necessary ones), that you need to get through the day.
  • Try to always be clean, [in sanskrit saucha, the first virtue stated in niyamas, essential for self-discipline and respect towards others, which develops the introspection]. Similarly, avoid any strong fragrance, as they, too, imprison the awareness.
  • Lessons start exactly on time, so please make sure you are already seated quietly on your mat by that time (time arrival at the studio 5’-10′ earlier, online presence 2’earlier). Delayed arrivals at the time of the ritual of the opening of the lesson, enter silently, stay/sit quietly on one place outside the yoga shala, until “Aum” chant is finished.
  • If you need to cancel your subscription in a class, inform ASAP by text (e.g. in a morning lesson, text-notify until 22:30 of the previous day), so that your seat is freed, and further change/ cancellation can be arranged.
  • In fully booked classes, there will be a waiting list.
